Monitoring and research

Oregon Spotted Frog Recovery Team members focus research efforts on the following:

Monitor the remaining Oregon Spotted Frog populations to understand population dynamics and inform efforts to improve population growth rates.

Study habitat use by Oregon Spotted Frogs to better understand the habitat needs of the frog and inform habitat recovery actions.

Evaluate husbandry methods to improve our ability to breed and rear frogs in captivity and boost wild populations.
