We are looking for an Amphibian Art Organizer!

The Precious Frog team is looking for a volunteer in the Metro Vancouver area to receive, catalogue and store of donated art pieces for the upcoming Precious Frog exhibit at Telus World of Science. We need a person with some space, some time, and the skills to catalogue artwork as it comes in. Our ideal volunteer is very well organized, has experience with excel spreadsheets or database management, and experience handling artwork of various types.

Requirements:

  • Has a secure indoor (dry, heated, pet free) room for storing art pieces (including flat artwork and sculptures)
  • Available to receive mail (and willing to share address with artists)
  • Available from July 15th to September 29th, 2017 to receive and store artwork
  • Able and Willing to catalogue art as it arrives, including:
    • Taking individual photograph of art received
    • Maintaining excel spreadsheet with name of artist, title of artwork, dimensions of artwork received, contact details for artist, etc.
    • Able to use dropbox or other file sharing software (to store photographs and excel spreadsheet)
