Wetlands play an essential role in maintaining healthy ecosystems. In the Lower Mainland (British Columbia), the majority of marshes have been drained and cleared for agriculture. This film follows conservation biologist Monica Pearson who has implemented — in partnership with Metro Vancouver — one of the first large-scale shallow marsh restoration projects in British Columbia. She shares insights on the approaches that make wetland restoration a success.
